Overview
Thomson Reuters, a global leader in business information services, launched Ready to Advise in 2025, a product designed for the tax and accounting sector. Ready to Advise is an AI-powered tax planning advisory solution that helps firms grow their business in strategic advisory services. The solution consolidates essential advisory tools, enabling firms to move beyond transactional work and position themselves as true strategic partners to their clients, helping them achieve goals, strengthen businesses, and improve lives.
Challenge
Thomson Reuters partnered with Superside to create a 60–75 second hype video for the Ready to Advise product debut at the Advisory Symposium in Miami. The primary goal was to spark excitement and curiosity, delivering an Apple-style reveal that would introduce the product’s existence in a bold and memorable way. The video was not intended as a deep product walkthrough but rather as an engaging, high-level introduction that set the stage for subsequent sessions covering features in detail.
Animation concept
For this launch, I focused on blending dynamic motion graphics, product UI screens, and carefully selected footage to highlight the product’s value proposition. Inspired by previous Thomson Reuters campaigns, the animation incorporated energetic transitions, dramatic text reveals, and product interface moments that extended beyond the device screen, creating a sense of innovation and impact. The result was a cinematic and inspirational video that aligned seamlessly with Thomson Reuters’ brand and motion guidelines.
