Overview
10-4 by WEX is designed to give independent truckers access to fuel discounts typically reserved for larger fleets. As a trusted partner to millions of commercial vehicles worldwide, WEX created this mobile app specifically for the trucking community. Backed by years of experience and trusted by industry leaders, the app simplifies business operations while delivering valuable savings.
Challenge
I contributed to several projects at 10-4 by WEX, including this one for their app launch. The primary goal was to create motion graphics that were truly "thumb-stopping" and left the audience intrigued and eager to download the app. Since these ads were the first touchpoint for potential users, the content needed to make a strong impact. The deliverables were required in three sizes: 1080x1080, 1080x1920, and 1920x1080.
Animation concept
For this animation, WEX wanted to highlight the app's features with a sense of inspiration and seamless motion. I focused on bringing the app's UI elements and value propositions to life through smooth, natural animation. To reinforce their brand identity, I incorporated the signature "road" lines into the motion design, ensuring the visuals were both engaging and aligned with their branding. This approach helped emphasize the app's functionality while resonating with the trucking community.
